What We Do

We make books, travel, camp, fish, drink rum, smoke cigars, rant and rave.

I have traveled to Cuba annually since the spring of 2001. During the Academic year of 2003-04 my family and I live in Havana, Cuba for 10 months. In Havana I had the opportunity to work in 5 different print shops with a variety of Cuban artists. Two of the shops are state run print shops with equipment and supplies providing opportunities for Cuban artists and foreigners to work. Two shops were unofficially run providing the same services and more and the fifth, a private shop recognized by the government was amazingly equipped with an abundance of inks, paper, and presses. This is Cuba, the state and private enterprises coexisting, waiting for change.
